When is the in-person CSC Corptax CONNECT conference taking place?

CONNECT 2023 will take place in person at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas from December 4-7, 2023.

Pre-conference sessions: December 3-4, 2023.

Will there be a virtual CONNECT conference in 2023?

No, there will only be an in-person conference in 2023.

What are the registration fees to attend?

  • August 1 through December 4 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  $2,495 per attendee
    • $2,245 for the first 100 August registrants – offer ends August 31

What are the methods of payment?

Credit card payment is the only method of payment available and is required to complete and confirm your registration.

Are hotel or travel fees included in the conference price?

No, all lodging and travel fees are separate from the price of the conference and are the responsibility of the attendee.

Is there a discounted conference rate at the Gaylord Texan Resort?

The hotel cost is separate from the conference registration fee. Book your room now by using our group link.

Whom do I contact for registration support?

How can I become a sponsor?

If I paid but can’t attend, can my seat be transferred to another member of our team?

Yes, please send us the name of the attendee by submitting a training case.

What if I need to cancel my registration?

If you wish to cancel your prepayment, submit a training case.

Cancellation Policy 

We’re offering a no-risk cancellation policy for CONNECT 2023 registrations prior to December 4, 2023. If your plans change, and you cannot attend CONNECT 2023, we’ll place a full credit for conference fees on your account.

Cancellations after December 4, 2023, along with no-shows, will be charged the full conference fee.

  • Conference cancellations will be applied as a credit to the company account. No credit card refunds will be processed.
  • Conference discounts cannot be combined
  • Conference registration fees cannot be shared
  • Residents of Connecticut will be charged sales tax on all fees

CSC Corptax® shall not be held liable for any non-performance of the conference resulting from circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, fire or other casualty; act of God; strike or labor dispute; war or other violence; or any law, order of requirement of any governmental agency or authority. In the event that the conference is canceled for any of the above reasons, CSC Corptax may refund the conference registration fee or a portion thereof and will not be liable for any other expenses incurred by participants.

General Conference Information

What is included in registration?

Conference attendees receive many benefits, including:

  • Experienced instructors
  • CPE credit for pre-conference and conference breakout sessions attended and logged
  • All curriculum sessions, including pre-conference sessions starting on 12/3
  • In-person roundtable sessions
  • Access to conference materials
  • All entertainment and networking activities
  • Transformation Station: demo theatre, sponsor exhibits, and Ask the Corptax Expert
  • Daily breakfast, lunch, and beverage/snack breaks

Will I receive conference materials prior to my arrival at the conference?

Yes, session materials will be available via the mobile app to download or print prior to the conference.

May I bring a guest to meals and networking events?

Sorry, only conference attendees are allowed to attend meals, receptions, and events.

What is the recommended attire for the event?

The overall dress code for CONNECT is business casual, however, we recommend casual attire for social events and receptions. We also recommend you bring additional attire if you plan to explore the area.

December temperatures in the Dallas-Forth Worth area range from the 30s to 60s. Conference meeting rooms tend to be cool, so for your comfort, we recommend bringing a jacket or sweater to training sessions.

Will there be a mobile app this year?

Yes. Prior to the conference, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the mobile app.

Session Information

Is CSC Corptax a registered CPE Sponsor?

Yes, Corptax is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credits. Corptax is also registered with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a CPE Sponsor.

Will I receive CPE credit?

Sessions offered during conference week are eligible for CPE credit as noted in the session descriptions, with the exception of meal functions, Transformation Station, and software demonstrations. One CPE credit equals 50 minutes of session time. Remember, in order to receive CPE credit, you must check in to each session that offers CPE via the CSC Corptax CONNECT app. A QR code will be provided at the end of each session, and check-in must be completed within 15 minutes of the session ending. All parts of a multi-part session must be attended in order to earn CPE credit for the class.
