What does the conference cost?

Group rate applies when two or more company members attend CONNECT 2019. Receive a credit by January 31, 2020 for each attendee meeting the criteria.
Do you offer a group rate?
Yes, companies sending two or more attendees will receive the group rate of $1,995 per attendee. After the conference concludes and attendance is audited, a credit will be posted to the company account by January 31, 2020 for each attendee meeting the group discount criteria.
If I pre-pay but can't attend in 2019, may I apply the conference registration and hotel fees to a future conference?
Sorry, all pre-paid fees must be used for the current conference and may not be carried forward.
If I can't attend, how do I cancel my conference registration?
To cancel your completed registration, please send an email including your name, company, and registration number to CSC Corptax® University at email@example.com
A full credit, less a $250 registration fee per registrant, will be issued if the cancellation notice is received by October 13, 2019. Cancellations received AFTER October 13, as well as no-shows, will be charged the full conference fee.
- Conference cancellations will be applied as a credit to the company account. No credit card refunds will be processed.
- Conference discounts cannot be combined
- Conference registration fees cannot be shared
- Residents of Connecticut will be charged sales tax on all fees
CSC Corptax® shall not be held liable for any non-performance of the conference resulting from circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, fire or other casualty; act of God; strike or labor dispute; war or other violence; or any law, order of requirement of any governmental agency or authority. In the event that the conference is canceled for any of the above reasons, Corptax may refund the conference registration fee or a portion thereof and will not be liable for any other expenses incurred by participants.
Does the conference registration fee include the hotel?
No, the hotel cost is separate from the conference registration fee.

If I pre-paid for the hotel, how can I change my reservation?
An email with your confirmation will be sent to you once the reservation is booked. It contains instructions for making reservation changes.
Are hotel costs included in the conference fee?
No, the conference registration fee does not include hotel costs.

When can I check-in at the conference?

Monday – Wednesday, November 11 – 13, 2019, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., PT, Grand Ballroom and Pacific Ballroom Registration
What do I receive when I attend CONNECT 2019?
Conference attendees receive many benefits, including:

Will I receive conference materials prior to my arrival at the conference?
Yes, session materials will be available via the mobile app to download or print prior to the conference.
May I bring a guest to meals and networking events?
Sorry, only conference attendees are allowed to attend meals, receptions, and events.
What is conference attire?
Comfortable business casual attire is appropriate for the conference. Temperatures in San Diego during November typically range from a high of 70 degrees to a low of 55 degrees. Conference meeting rooms tend to be cool, so for your comfort we recommend bringing a jacket or sweater to training sessions.
Is CSC Corptax® a registered CPE Sponsor?
Yes, Corptax is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credits. Corptax is also registered with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a CPE Sponsor.

Will I receive CPE credit?
Sessions offered during conference week are eligible for CPE credit as noted in the session descriptions, with the exception of meal functions, the Tax Transformation Workshop, and software demonstrations. One CPE credit equals 50 minutes of session time. Remember, in order to receive CPE credit, you must check in to each session that offers CPE via the CSC Corptax CONNECT app. A code will be provided at the end of each session, and check-in must be completed within 60 minutes of the session ending.
CPE Certificates will be emailed out to attendees after the conference.
Will there be course evaluations?
In accordance with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) standards, course evaluations will be available in the CSC Corptax CONNECT app. Within the app, open the session you attended and click on the “Session Evaluation”, answer the questions and then touch the “Submit” link in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
How do I obtain the session documentation?
Session documentation can be found within each session in the CSC Corptax CONNECT app (coming soon).
• Access the session you want (from Agenda or My Schedule).
• Touch “Session Documentation” and the documentation will pull up on your device.
If you would like, you can email the document to yourself by clicking on the icon in the upper right-hand corner. That opens the document in your browser, and then touch the share icon at the bottom of the screen (the box with an arrow pointing up). Select Mail or Email, enter your email address and hit send.
