Todd Schorb, International Tax Compliance Director and a member of KPMG’s compliance center of excellence (“CoE”), specializes in multinational compliance engagements, efficient use of technology and co- and out-sourcing options for complex multinational structures. Todd also has extensive experience with provisions, cross-border finance and foreign restructuring.

Todd has been with KPMG for 17 years, focusing on a variety of international tax topics. And leading some of KPMG’s largest international compliance engagements, covering compliance and related requirements in multiple jurisdictions. Todd has also been responsible for rendering services pursuant to acquisition, disposition and restructuring of business units in a multitude of jurisdictions.

Prior to joining KPMG, Todd was a senior associate in the financial audit practice of another large public accounting firm.

Kim Tan Majure, KPMG’s Inbound Tax Leader, advises clients on inbound and outbound / “sandwich” international tax planning and controversy issues, including cash management and deferral planning, cross border payments and withholding, and inbound investment planning. Kim is also KPMG’s national leader on BEPS Country-by-Country (“CbyC”) reporting. She has published numerous articles on FATCA as well as BEPS CbyC Reporting, and is a regular speaker on both topics.

Kim was an adjunct professor with the Georgetown University Law Center for 11 years, teaching a mix of international tax classes for Georgetown’s L.L.M. program, including an advanced international tax seminar and a cross-border tax controversy workshop. Kim regularly writes and speaks outside of the academic setting.

Prior to joining KPMG, Ms. Majure was a partner in the D.C. law firm, Miller & Chevalier, where she provided clients with foreign structuring and tax planning services as well as representation in IRS audit and appeals proceedings.

Since joining the firm he has been a key contributor and project lead on implementations and overall tax transformation projects.  James holds certifications in various tax technology software.

He focuses his efforts on tax provision and compliance process improvement projects centered around technology implementations. Nathan has multiple years experience working with provision and compliance systems and specializes in Corptax®. He has helped dozens of multinational clients improve tax processes using technology in a wide array of industries, including oil and gas, medical, aerospace, manufacturing, e-commerce, and retail.

She has 16 years of implementation experience with Deloitte and Corptax.  Staci began her career in industry, spending six years preparing tax returns (both direct and indirect) and calculating income tax provisions, first as a State Tax Accountant at Manpower, Inc. in Glendale, WI, and then as a Tax Analyst at Journal Communications in Milwaukee, WI.

Today Staci focuses on helping clients to develop processes for their tax compliance and reporting and to implement these processes within a tax software solution.  She is the firm’s State Provision and Compliance Subject Matter Expert for Corptax and is also a Corptax Insurance Subject Matter Expert.  Her industry experience spans beyond insurance and includes: Consumer Goods; Energy; Financial Services; Manufacturing; and Telecommunications.

Brian Smith, Senior Manager in KPMG’s Ignition – Tax Application Integration Practice, has been working in tax since 1988 with a focus on tax provision and compliance leveraging tax technology for tax processes. Brian was responsible for multiple tax processes including federal, state, international, federal audit, fixed assets, as well as working in the sales & use functional area. He joined a competitor firm in 1999 where he managed a 55+ client base and was responsible for providing client support and retention, implementation guidance, process improvement, and training for the Corptax suite of products.

Brian earned B.S. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant, and a Certified Corptax Professional.

Gerwyn James, Senior Manager in KPMG’s Tax Ignition – Data and Analytics practice, is an experienced accountant and financial and data modeller with over 11 years’ experience at KPMG. He initially worked within Audit in KPMG London, working with clients in the Industrial and Automotive sector. Before joining the US Tax practice in December 2014, Gerwyn worked in the Risk Consulting Modelling team where he built and reviewed financial and operational models across many sectors.

Gerwyn earned a 2:1 Hons BSc Accountancy from Cardiff University in the UK.

Shelly Schilling, Manager in on KPMG’s Ignition – Tax Application Integration team, has been working in tax since 1996 and currently focused on tax technologies and process improvements. Shelly joined KPMG in 2015, and led team implementations of Corptax federal and state compliance, state planner, global provision, domestic provision including both blended and detailed state by state provision, and CorpCalendar. She is also proficient using Corptax Office. As part of these implementations she also worked with cross-functional teams to improve processes and increase the resources available for value added work.

Shelly earned a BBS from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, is a Certified Public Accountant (TX, WI), and is a Corptax Certified Professional for Provision and US Compliance.
